As the newest member to the EOS VR System — the RF-S3.9mm F3.5 STM DUAL FISHEYE lens paired with the EOS R7 (firmware 1.5.0+) and one of Canon’s VR software solutions — you can create immersive 3D that can be experienced when viewed on compatible head mount displays including the Oculus Quest 2 and others. Viewers will be able to take in the scene with vivid, engaging images by simply moving their head. This lens was designed with APS-C sensors in mind, and carries on the tradition of its big brother (RF-5.2mm F2.8 L DUAL FISHEYE) of lenses that can capture stereoscopic 3D 180° VR imagery to a single image sensor. Canon was the first to offer a high-resolution single sensor solution to creating VR content with the RF-5.2mm F2.8 L DUAL FISHEYE lens and the EOS R5 C camera. Being the first, naturally we had more time to study how people create VR content and find a way to offer the best of what people loved about that first lens at a reasonable price. At the same time, we wanted to address some of the issues that make smaller, compact 180º cameras difficult to use. The solution was to focus on affordable APS-C sensor cameras and build the system around that. This resulted in a high-quality, feature-rich lens that is compatible with an APS-C camera, is reasonably priced, and even the compatible VR software has been updated for a better workflow. Orders over $99.00 will receive free FedEx Ground shipping (typically 2-3 business day shipping) in the contiguous (lower- 48) United States. In stock orders placed after 1:00pm CST on weekdays will not ship until the next business day. Orders submitted online before 1:00pm CST, Monday - Friday will be processed that same day. though, this does not guarantee that your order will ship that same day. Orders are subject to verification and sometimes require additional information from the cardholder. These precautions are made with the card holder's interests in mind. We will attempt to reach the cardholder for up to five (5) working days after the order has initially gone through our verification department. After the allowed time, and if we are not able to verify the credit cardholders information, we will cancel and refund the pending order. Orders placed after 1:00pm CST Fridays will not ship until the following Monday. The $99 order total is calculated after all rebates and bundle discounts have been applied. Gift cards, duties, and taxes do not count towards the $99 order total. Our free shipping is available for orders completed using our online cart only, items ordered in store or by phone (approved by Bedford Executive Team members only) will not qualify for free shipping.
